Refunds and cancellation

1. Sold by Paddle

Paid LitArbi licences are sold by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and VAT, and pays out refunds. The provider of the software, and your contact for anything about LitArbi, is Game Ban Appeal UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

2. 14 days money back

• First purchase: within 14 days of the first payment for a plan or add-on (Solo, Firm, LitArbi Server, LitArbi for iPad & Android) we refund the full amount — no questions asked.
• Yearly renewal: within 14 days of the renewal date we refund the full amount of the renewal.
• Monthly renewal: no refund. You can cancel at any time; the month already paid runs to its end.

We refund the amount paid, including VAT, to the original payment method. With the refund the licence ends and its key is deactivated. Your matters, documents and exports stay on your computer, unchanged. Enterprise firm-wide licences are governed by their own agreement. Free licences — the test programme and season licences for moot court teams — cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.

3. How to request a refund

1. Write to hello@litarbi.app with the order number from Paddle’s payment confirmation and the email address you bought with — or request the refund from Paddle directly at paddle.net.
2. What counts for the deadline is when your request arrives, not when it is processed.
3. Paddle usually pays the amount out within a few business days; when it shows on your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time — with the link in Paddle’s payment confirmation, at paddle.net, or by email to hello@litarbi.app. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; your licence stays active until then. Cancelling alone does not trigger a refund: if you want your money back within the 14 days, just tell us.

5. Abuse

We may decline a voluntary refund where it is clearly abused, for example by repeatedly buying and refunding. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Statutory rights

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them — in particular not a right of withdrawal you have as a consumer under Paddle’s buyer terms, nor your warranty rights.
